Learn about the Honours Commerce program. DeGroote students, faculty and staff will walk you through the structure, feature, and related career opportunities of the commerce program.

Learn more about the Integrated Business and Humanities (IBH) program and hear from Program Director Dr. Brent McKnight, faculty, current students and alumni.

Experiential learning is a hands-on learning approach that prepares Commerce students with the knowledge, skills, and resources to thrive in academic and workplace environments. Come learn about how we embrace Experiential Learning and participate in a live session!

In the session, take a deep dive into career services excellence at DeGroote as we share insights into your career possibilities.

Stop by to speak 1:1 with IBH Program Director Dr. Brent McKnight and current students. Gain insight into the innovative IBH curriculum as students share their work and host project display stations.

Speak with student leaders about getting involved in various extra-curricular activities and case competitions.

Location: PGCLL, M Level Mezzanine

Gather information on academics, internship, career and professional development and international exchange. Connect with staff and current students to learn more about the DeGroote experience.

 

 

Your Pre-DeGroote Checklist


  • If you have a residence accommodation request
  • If you have a roommate request submit it through the residence portal
  • Select your meal plan
  • Move in day for residence – August 26-27

  • Attend the course enrollment webinar to find out how to enroll and what classes you’ll be taking
  • Access MyTimeTable to start planning your courses
  • Course enrollment begins in June. You will receive an enrollment appointment. Enroll in classes using Mosaic or MyTimeTable
  • Enroll in Fall and Winter courses in June – you can change courses later if needed
  • Need help with enrollment? Attend DeGroote’s drop in enrollment support sessions over Zoom
  • Have questions about courses and not sure what to take? Email buscom@mcmaster.ca
Learn more
  • Apply for OSAP or your province or state government’s aid program
  • We recommend applying for OSAP by June 30
  • Starting August 10, you can apply for bursaries and the McMaster Work Program
Learn more
  • Tuition can be paid through online banking or credit card. McMaster University does not accept cash or cheque payments.
  • Fees are scheduled to be posted to student’s accounts the first week of August
  • If you require proof of enrollment for your RESP, go onto Mosaic and submit a service request for an enrollment verification letter
